Conventional medicine often relies heavily on psychostimulant medications and sometimes anti-depressants, both of which can have serious side effects. We use Music therapy to improve auditory processing and auditory processing disorders as well as brain function, which results in improved attention, alertness, learning ability. It also is helpful to improve reading comprehension. Osteopathic Medicine may be used to treat previous trauma, even including birth trauma to address these conditions.

Environmental Medicine, food allergy testing and nutritional assessment may also be used to find the cause of ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities. We help you optimize your and/or your child’s environment to minimize the effects of toxins on ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities. We also use dietary assessment and healthy diet plans, vitamins and nutritional supplements to support optimal brain function and correct nutrient deficiencies associated with these conditions.
